Jan 7,2009 Today's adventure

When I was bringing wood from the barn to the house today I looked up
to see the chimney of the wood stove leaning and about to pushed over by
about a foot or more of snow behind it. Thankfully my grand-son-in-law's
brother was nearby and came over to clear away the snow before any
more damage was done. So tomorrow will mean new chimney parts and
more roof walking, hopefully all will be well before we get more snow.

  2. Thanks Silver, as you probably saw I read your blog and signed up to follow it. We have a lot in common, I like to do most of the things you do. My teapot collection is a bit bigger and I even have a collection of small ones that I take in an old fashioned traveling hatbox when I go visit my grand kids so we can have tea parties. My newest pot is one in the form of a snowman. It's the pot and cup together kind that I use in this wintery weather. I don't have any pictures but I really enjoyed yours so maybe I should start posting some.
